Privacy Policy

• Account data such as name, email, and authentication details through our auth provider.
• Content you submit, including bios, messages, questions, dating preferences, and uploaded photos.
• Preferences such as tone, budget, location details, and memory/history settings.
• Usage, device, diagnostics, and crash data where implemented.
• Payment and subscription metadata through payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.

Photos are processed to generate feedback and are not permanently stored by default. Where possible, EXIF metadata is stripped before upload. Screenshots and message content are processed only to provide coaching, safety, abuse prevention, and account functionality.

Memory and history are off by default. Content is retained only if you enable history or memory. You can delete all history, memory, or your account from settings. Deleted data may remain briefly in encrypted backups.

• Provide AI coaching, profile feedback, reply suggestions, and date planning.
• Personalize responses only when memory/history settings allow it.
• Operate subscriptions, billing, support, abuse prevention, and safety systems.
• Improve reliability, product quality, diagnostics, and security.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

We may send relevant inputs to third-party providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, hosting providers, auth providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and venue-data providers where implemented. These providers process data under their own terms and our agreements with them where applicable.

We do not intentionally use your private coaching conversations to trainSparq AI-owned AI models without consent. Third-party AI providers process information under their own policies and contractual obligations.

We may use:

• Essential cookies for sign-in, security, and core app functionality.
• Functional storage for preferences such as budget, tone, and app settings.
• Analytics, diagnostics, or performance tools where implemented.

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the app from working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Sparq AI, with your direction, for safety/security, or when required by law.

• Traffic is protected with industry-standard TLS.
• We use access controls and reasonable technical/organizational safeguards.
• No online service is completely secure; internet transmission carries inherent risk.
• We monitor for abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats where implemented.
• Report suspected security issues or unauthorized access to support.

We design Sparq AI to prioritize wellbeing over engagement. Safety systems are intended to block or redirect requests involving harassment, coercion, stalking, exploitation, minors, violence, self-harm, romance scams, and illegal activity. In the U.S., crisis support is available by calling or texting 988.

• Request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data.
• Delete history, memory, or your account from settings where available.
• California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing. We do not sell personal information.
• International users may have additional rights depending on local law.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Retained history remains until deleted. Billing, fraud-prevention, security, legal, and backup records may be retained as required or permitted by law.

Sparq AI is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
